Candidates can check their names, roll numbers, and marks obtained in the official notification. As per the previous notification a total of 550 vacancies were declared for Class-IV posts. The JKSSB Class IV Recruitment falls under Divisional/ District Cadre Posts. The Official notification for the year 2025 is expected to be released in the coming months, after which details on topics like admit card, eligibility, cut off and syllabus will be confirmed.
- The 550 Class IV vacancies were released for the Revenue Department for previous exam cycle. Vacancies for the year 2025 are yet to be released.

The interested candidates can apply for the desired post by following the below-given steps.
Note: The steps are as per the previous exam cycle. They are expected to stay the same for the 2025 cycle of the JKSSB Class 4 examination.
Step 1: Proceed by clicking on the application link given above. (Link expired)
Step 2: Click on the “Candidate Registration” link if you are a new candidate.
Step 3: Generate your login credentials by submitting details like email ID, mobile number, etc.,
Step 4: Login using the newly generated credentials and find the “Apply Online” link for the Class IV post under “Latest Openings”.
Step 5: Enter all the information across various sections and click on “Save & Continue”.
Step 6: The candidates will have to upload the recent photograph and signature as per the given format.
Step 7: The applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 350/-. The payment can be done through internet banking or credit/debit card.
Step 8: After the final submission, print the application form/ fee receipt for future reference.

B. Domicile
- The candidate must be domicile have the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory as per the notifications by the MoHA, Govt of India vide S.O 1229 (E) (dated 31st March 2025) and the General Administration Department, Government of J&K vide S.O 166 (dated 18th March 2025)
- Only those candidates will be eligible to apply who are defined as “Migrants” in SRO 412 of 2009 or defined as “Kashmiri Pandits” as in SRO 425 of 2017.
C. Education
- The minimum qualification for appointment shall be matric.
- Maximum qualification shall be 10+2.
JKSSB Class IV Selection Process 2025
The selection of the applicants is expected to be done across two stages. Initially, the candidates will have to face a written examination consisting of objective type questions. The top successful candidates will be called for verification of documents for which they must carry 2 recent passport-sized color photographs, original photo ID proof along with self-attested copies of original documents. As per the JKSSB Class IV Exam Pattern for the previous exam cycle, it will be an objective type test and questions will be asked from Basic Mathematics, Basic English, and General Awareness, and Science.
