JKSSB Junior Assistant Recruitment Apply Online
The JKSSB will be accepting online applications only between the dates specified in the official notification. The candidates can follow these steps to complete the application process.
Step 1: Use the direct application link given above. (link will be active soon).
Step 2: New candidates can proceed to “Candidate Registration”. Already/previously registered candidates can proceed to login.
Step 3: Enter all the details like date of birth, email ID, contact number, name, etc., and create your credentials.
Step 4: Login using the generated credentials and click on “Apply Online” link under “Latest Openings”.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details in various sections and click on “Save & Continue”.
Step 6: The applicants will have to upload the recent photograph and signature as per the prescribed format. The candidates can use the Testbook Resize Tool.
Step 7: The applicants will have to pay an application fee as per their category through net banking or credit/debit card.
Step 8: After the final submission, print the application form/fee receipt for future reference.
JKSSB Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidate will be considered eligible only if he/she satisfied the criteria defined in terms of age, education and domicile.
A. Education
- Candidates should have a Graduation degree from any recognized university with Knowledge of type having not less than 35 words speed per minute on computer per minute.
B. Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)
The age limit for the Junior Assistant post shall be as per the category of the candidate.

C. Domicile
The candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
JKSSB Junior Assistant Selection Process
The selection will be done on the basis of skill test/typing test and written exam. The marks obtained in the skill test will be proportionately allotted against 20 points earmarked for the test. Only those candidates who achieve an accuracy of 90% or above and a typing speed of minimum of 35 words per minute shall be considered qualified for the next stage(s).
- Skill Test = 20 points
- Written Examination/CBT =80 points
