The age of the candidates for the UPPCS exam must be within the following limit, as of 1st July 2025:

  • Minimum age – 21 years
  • Maximum age – 40 years

The candidates appearing for the post of UPPSC PCS 2025 will be given age relaxations as per the government guidelines decided by the officials. It is extremely important for the candidates appearing for the exam to check the Age Relaxations provided to different categories like General, OBC, SC, ST of candidates in order to not miss the relaxations provided by the officials.

UPPCS Age Relaxation Documents List 2025

Candidates belonging to specific categories can claim the perks of Age Relaxation & Attempt limit which is provided by the officials. But it is not so easy getting the perks, without showing the required documents. To help you get aware of this here is the list of documents which will be required to avail the perks of Age Relaxation:

  1. Domicile of UP
  2. The caste/domicile certificate granted by the father’s side shall be considered valid in the case of female candidates.
  3. A certificate of category from the competent authority
  4. Female candidates who have married a man who already has a wife (who is still alive) are ineligible. (Unless the state’s governor gives an exemption.)
  5. Male candidates who have more than one living wife are ineligible. (Unless the state’s governor gives an exemption.)
  6. Candidates who apply for age relaxation/reservation in more than one group for the UP PCS Exam are only eligible for one concession, whichever is more advantageous.
  7. Candidates who are pregnant for more than 12 weeks will be deemed temporarily unfit.

UPPCS Eligibility Criteria for Marital Status

As per the official guidelines by the board, unless the Governor grants an exception, married male candidates who have more than one wife living and married female candidates who are married to a man who already has another wife will be ineligible for the recruitment.

Physical Measurements for UPPSC PCS Exam 2025

Physical Measurements will be applicable according to Service Rules/ requisitions, in case of availability of posts e.g. Dy. Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, Deputy Jailor District Youth Welfare and Pradeshik Vikash Dal Officer etc. Check out the below table to know the post-wise physical standards required for UPPCS exam.
