- Paper 1 is a Computer Based Test having multiple-choice questions.
- It consists of two sections – General English and General Hindi.
- In Paper-I questions will be designed to test the candidates‟ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly and precisely.
- The questions will be of degree level.
- Each section has 100 questions and the total time duration is 2 hours.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
