A total of 250 vacancies have been released for the JKSSB Forester Recruitment 2022 under Forest Ecology and Environment. The candidates can apply from 14th August 2022.

JKSSB Forester Selection Process 2024

Candidates must know the JKSSB Forester exam pattern to crack the examination with ease. The selection process will comprise an Objective Type Written Test, Physical Test, and Walking Test. The aspirants can refer to the table below for the detailed exam pattern.

Written Exam

The question paper is of objective type OMR based, in which 1 mark will be rewarded for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 mark will be applicable for each wrong answer.

Walking Test

The candidate must have to give the walk test to get selected for the post of the JKSSB Forester. The walk test for both males and females is different which is mentioned in the table below.

  • Male 25 Kilometers in 04 hours on foot.
  • Female 16 Kilometers in 04 hours on foot Physical fitness certificate to be issued by CMO.

Document Verification

The candidate who has their name on the merit list will be called for the Document Verification Round of the JKSSB Forester. The candidate must keep all the necessary documents ready which will be needed in the Document Verification Round of the JKSSB Forester Recruitment.

The candidates who had applied for the JKSSB Forester Examination can download their admit card from the official website of JKSSB. The steps to download the JKSSB Forester admit card are provided below:

Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website of the Jammu & Kashmir Subordinate Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

JKSSB Forester Salary Details

The candidate must clear Written Test to get recruited for the post of JKSSB Forester. The selected candidates will receive a basic monthly JKSSB Forester salary of Rs.29,200 /- to Rs.92,300/- Level 7 in the pay Matrix. The annual package for the candidates will thus range from Rs.3,50,400/- to Rs.11,07,600 /-.
