SSC CGL Application Fee 2025
- The SSC CGL application or registration fees for exam is Rs. 100/- for male candidates belonging to UR and OBC category.
- SC/ST, Differently abled, ex-servicemen and female candidates have been exempted from application fee.
- You have to pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. You can also pay the application fee via offline mode only through challan of SBI.
SSC CGL Selection Process 2025
The SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination is a multi-tier exam conducted to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in the Indian government. The selection process for SSC CGL 2025 involves several stages:
- Tier I – The Tier-I Examination will consist of four subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension,
- Each containing 25 questions and carrying a maximum of 50 marks.
- The total duration for the exam is 1 hour, with an extended time of 1 hour and 20 minutes for candidates eligible for a scribe as per specified guidelines.
- The examination will feature objective-type, multiple-choice questions set in both English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension section.
- Additionally, there will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Tier II – The Tier-II Examination consists of Paper-I and Paper-II conducted on separate days. Paper-I, mandatory for all posts, includes three sections:
- Section-I (Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning and General Intelligence) with 60 questions in total and a 1-hour duration per section (1 hour and 20 minutes for eligible scribe users), totaling 180 marks.
- Section-II (English Language and Comprehension and General Awareness) with 70 questions and a 1-hour duration per section, totaling 210 marks.
- Section-III (Computer Knowledge Module) has 20 questions with 15 minutes allotted, totaling 60 marks. Paper-I also includes a Data Entry Speed Test.
- Paper-II, with 100 questions worth 200 marks, is for candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II positions, lasting 2 hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for eligible scribe users).
SSC CGL Eligibility 2025

- The admit card will contain details like candidate’s name, roll number, form number, gender, category, signature, left thumb impression, photograph, exam date, exam time and test center details.

SSC CGL Result 2025
The Staff Selection Commission declares the SSC CGL Result 2025 in a phase-wise manner on the official website. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Result is expected by November 2025. Only those who clear the CBT will be shortlisted for the Tier 2 exam scheduled in late 2025 or early 2025. Following Tier 2, the shortlisted candidates will appear for Tier 3 (descriptive paper). The final SSC CGL result comprising the scores of all four stages will be declared by mid-2025. Candidates can check their scores by entering registration number/roll number in the result link.
